She feels herself blush as he looks at her like that, really looks at her with an intensity that she'd last seen on his face only a couple of hours ago. She looks down at herself and laughs.

"Yeah," she says. "Well, the stuff I turned up in was kind of gross. We're trying to get it clean, but..." She shrugs. "Might be a lost cause."
